The new Van Gogh Village Museum with Lightlab

The new Van Gogh Village Museum will open in Nuenen in May 2023: an architectural homage to Van Gogh! The extension to the museum will reflect Vincent van Gogh’s life in his Brabant period in many ways.

Visitors will soon be amazed by an experience they have not encountered in any other museum. They will be able to play with light in the new high-tech LightLab – made possible by ASML - in the same way that Van Gogh did in his paintings. Discover the role of colour and light using contemporary technological innovation.
