During the Internationale Tourismus Börse (ITB) in Berlin (7 - 13 Feb), the Crossroads Brabant ’40- ‘45 Foundation together with the Liberation Route Europe Foundation held a press conference in the Culture Lounge. The ITB is Europe’s biggest Tourism Fair where destinations, attractions, museums and foreign travel organisations meet each other to discuss the content of travel programmes which can be included on websites and in travel brochures.
LRE Chair Jurriaan de Mol and Anne-Will Maris on behalf of Crossroads Brabant ’40-’45, explained during this press conference the collaboration between the partners of both foundations and the ‘Europe Remembers’ and ‘Brabant Remembers’ campaign themes that will be conducted jointly in the coming years. The story of Karl Heinz Rosch, the Good German, was also shared with the audience. This story had an immediate impact, the room was filled mainly with German journalists, bloggers and representatives of travel organisations who were interested in this theme.
Brabant Remembers was also represented at the ITB in the NBTC Holland pavilion on the VisitBrabant stand, where agreements made included some with British, American and Canadian tour organisations.
