Heusden is conveniently located between Waalwijk and ‘s-Hertogenbosch. At only 20 minutes from the Brabant capital, you are best parking at the car park outside the fortress. After that, you will be in the centre of the city within a ten minutes’ walk, where the boat is moored. Rondvaart Wiljo mainly focuses on seniors, families and corporate clients. In fact, on anyone who would like to enjoy the beautiful surroundings in a peaceful way. ‘Took the three-hour brunch tour last Sunday, well catered for, nice and helpful staff, captain with great stories. Lovely on the water with great weather, recommended!’ according to a previous guest. On returning to the harbour, we therefore often hear ‘One more time!’ For groups, there are special group packages, possibly with a buffet or dinner.
Location
After the cruise, you will probably be more than happy to wander through the narrow alleyways and past lovely restaurant and boutiques. However, the Efteling family theme park and Loon and Drunen Dunes National Park are enticingly close by. A visit to monumental Heusden can thus easily be combined with the extremely varied range of tourist attractions in the vicinity.
