Historical sensation
Built for the Begemann family in 1874, the villa also contains an art salon with paintings by Van Gogh’s friends. The old furniture and other objects from Van Gogh’s time each tell their own story. Nuenen and Van Gogh
Van Gogh enthusiasts can easily make their way to Nuenen, which is just ten minutes by car from Eindhoven, and which also has a good bus service. A visit to Salon Nune Ville makes a perfect combination with one of the other Van Gogh locations and with the walking and cycling routes in the immediate vicinity. Its link with the Second World War means that guided tours often combine this with a visit to the Wings of Freedom Museum, about 12 kilometres away in the town of Best.
