Van Doorne’s Automobiel Fabriek  (Van Doorne Car Factory)
DAF’s history goes back to 1928 when the brothers Hub and Wim van Doorne formed the basis of what was to become DAF Trucks. What started as a small engineering and forging factory developed from a family business to become one of Europe’s fastest-growing producers of commercial vehicles. On the museum’s upper floor a village square has been recreated with shops from the 1930s, the intimate De Valk tavern and a replica of the director’s office from that period. This makes the museum suitable for trips out with the whole family. Groups can benefit from special admission prices.

Party venue
In addition to maintaining the DAF heritage, this listed museum offers excellent opportunities for parties, receptions, meetings and corporate events. There are plenty of opportunities for your guests to meet in a pleasant, informal, professional and certainly surprising way, surrounded by beautiful trucks from days gone by. The museum contains a number of interesting prototypes of cars that never went into production.

Accessibility
With guided tours in languages including English, Dutch, French and German, the museum welcomes numerous foreign guests. The DAF Museum is easy to reach on the edge of Eindhoven centre and is about a one kilometre walk from the main station. There is also ample parking close by and bus line 5 stops right in front of the museum.
