As Crossroads Brabant ’40-’45, we participated this year for the first time at the NBTC Holland Pavilion during the World Travel Market in London from 6 to 8 November. Together with RBTKAN, attention was given to the international campaign ‘Europe Remembers‘ by the Liberation Route in the form of two specially sponsored information columns. The World Travel Market is one of Europe’s largest trade fairs and offers a wide range of destinations and travel products for international travel professionals and journalists. The World Travel Market was a unique opportunity for Crossroads to come into contact with overseas tour operators, coach companies, cultural associations, river cruise operators and the press. The Crossroads focus is concerned with positioning Brabant so that personal stories of the Second World War can be told. These 75 stories - one for every year of freedom – will be retold in detail and will literally find their place in the Brabant landscape.
