From 21 September 2019 - 12 January 2020 Het Noordbrabants Museum showcases a unique Van Gogh exhibition.
’s-Hertogenbosch, 7 November 2018 – Having developed their artistry in the region of Brabant, the artists Hieronymus Bosch, Vincent van Gogh and Jan Sluijters are of special significance to Het Noordbrabants Museum. The artistic heritage of these three Brabant masters is a common thread running through the museum programme and presentation of the museum collection. In 2019, a number of exhibitions will spotlight the influence of the art of Hieronymus Bosch, Vincent van Gogh and Jan Sluijters.

On Tuesday 14 November, the Het Noordbrabants Museum acquired Vincent van Gogh's (1853-1890) painting Watermill at Kollen at the Impressionist & Modern Art Sale held by Sotheby’s in New York.
Brabant attracted an extra 78,000 visitors from home and abroad with exhibitions and events during the country-wide Mondrian to Dutch Design theme year.
